Repairing a Barbour waxed jacket

Anyone like me, who works outdoors, will break their equipment from time to time. Often it is down to carelessness, but well used bits of kit just wear out from hard use over a long period of time.  My faithful old wax jacket has been a well worn waterproof for many years and has done sterling service, but it is not water proof everywhere. I have rewaxed it many times. However the creases on the wrists and near the cuffs have worn so much that there are large holes in them. And it is the really awkward place to stick patches on… So out comes the Stormsure Flexible Repair Adhesive.  I made patchless repairs over the holes and creases and it has reinforced the very thin fabric brilliantly. The worn area is now abrasion resistant and waterproof again. Hurrah!
