We moved house recently and during the move one of the heavy items was damaged. This is the base of a reconstituted stone garden planter. It is quite an elegant piece of statuary and has been sitting in its place for many years. A corner of the stone plinth has now been knocked off and I thought that I would try to repair it. The repair clearly needs to be weather proof and frost proof as it is always outside. (Last year the temperature went down to – 20 degrees Celcius)
I applied the glue to one surface and then clamped the broken piece in place overnight while the glue cured.
