Expensive breathable waders are a must have for every fisherman; they are comfortable, effective but costly to replace when damaged.  A pinprick hole from a thorny bush or kneeling on stony ground can cause leaks.  The problem is that tiny pinholes only leak when they’re a metre under water.   You know you’ve got a leak because you’ve got wet feet!

There is then the struggle of finding the leak once you’ve returned home.  The conditions are not the same and even though you know roughly where the leaking area is, it is almost impossible to find it.  This is because the technical breathable fabric is designed to repel water (hydrophobic) and until the water pressure is sufficient the water will not go through the pinhole and in the bathroom or kitchen it is almost impossible to simulate a metre of water pressure.

Stormsure has the answer.

Using their LEAK DETECTOR has never been simpler and can help fix the leak quickly and efficiently.

Here at Stormsure we suggest a simple solution.  Upon returning home dry the boots out thoroughly and turn them inside out, spray the LEAK DETECTOR on to the inside of the boot over the area where you believe the leak has sprung, immediately turn the waders the right way out and hey presto the leak will become visible in the form of a wet patch where the LEAK DETECTOR has passed through the pinhole.

LEAK DETECTOR will quickly evaporate, so mark the pinhole and apply the STORMSURE FLEXIBLE ADHESIVE inside so that it is not visible.  It will seal the area creating a flexible, waterproof, abrasion resistant repair.  Leave the adhesive to cure overnight.

Stormsure has the answer!

Expensive tack can be costly to repair.  A journey to the saddler is inevitable and a week or two’s wait for the mending to be done is often dependent on what other jobs the saddler has waiting.

Because of this we suggested using Stormsure Flexible Adhesive and guess what?  It did the trick quickly and efficiently with little or no hassle.

By simply applying Stormsure Flexible Adhesive to the area that had become unstitched we were able to tightly clamp the leather strap in place and wait for the glue to cure over night.

The next day the martingale was fixed and ‘fit for purpose’.  Through wind and rain, sunshine and hail its still going strong and there have been no complaints.

Ever found yourself in danger of loosing your Ikea drawers?

‘Cos I have.

As always the drawers had become overloaded with too much stuff, weighted down with out grown clothes and generally treated badly.

Finally the flimsy wooden bottom had come away from the sides and back creating a bow like effect making the draw impossible to close.

Tired Ikea Draw!

I then remembered my box of 10m TUFF TAPE and the rest is history!

I was able to quickly and efficiently tape the bottom, sticking it so successfully that you would not notice it had to be fixed .

An invisible repair!

There have been no further issues and the drawer is still in use!

Stupid Accident…

Ever reversed your car into a tree and smashed out the back window?  Well I have.

Stupid moments can cost money and time especially when you need to travel.  With no glass in the back of my car and rain imminent I had to think fast.  I needed something that would stick (most importantly) and remain watertight and then I remembered my 10m box of STORMSURE’S TUFF TAPE… (and a see through polythene sheet).

I quickly cleared away as much glass as possible, ensuring that the area I wanted to stick on to was clean and dry.  Starting at the top I secured the polythene in the corners and followed with long stretches of TUFF TAPE till the area was stuck too perfection!

National windscreen turned up two hours later ;)…
